Upholstery

We cater for all your upholstery work, large or small. Please call us to discuss your requirements and to arrange a home visit or feel free to call into the shop. Where smaller items of furniture are concerned, ie. footstools and small chairs, you could bring these in with you.

In our shop we have an excellent range of upholstery fabrics and trimmings. These include plains, textured plains, small patterns, large patterns, stripes, chenilles and much more.

Larger items such as suites, large chairs and recliner chairs, will have to be viewed in situ. We can bring fabric samples with us and can advise on colour, design and type of fabric that best suits your furniture and room. We are very lucky to have upholsterer Nick Jay situated down the road. Nick also does home visits where he will advise on his labour cost and how much material you will need. He can also advise on any repairs that need to be undertaken and the re-filling of cushions. We can supply new polyester-wrapped seating foam, hollowfibre, which is a man made filling softer than foam and feather.

Also adjoining Nick Jay's workshop is John Davis the French polisher, who can attend to any woodwork such as re-polishing or changing the colour of the wooden legs. Between us we can undertake any upholstery work, large or small. You can contact John direct on 01202 534966 and 07702 400312.

We offer a collection and delivery service and most items take approximately 4 weeks.
